Stronach 5 Has 71 Winning Tickets, Each Worth $1,918

Baltimore, MD – The Stronach 5, featuring races from Laurel Park, Gulfstream Park, Golden Gate Fields and Santa Anita Park, returned Friday with 71 winning tickets each worth $1,918.90.
 
The largest price in the sequence came in Laurel’s eighth race, the third leg of the sequence, when Outofthepark returned $15.60. The final two legs of the sequence from Golden Gate and Santa Anita were won by favorites.

MARYLAND HORSEMEN RESUME RACING

LAUREL, MD - The Maryland Jockey Club announced today that it has received approval from the Maryland Racing Commission to resume live racing at Laurel Park effective Saturday, May 30. The Summer 2020 meet begins with three days of live racing running through to Monday, June 1.

MJC Resuming LARC Simulcasts Starting Sunday, May 3

BALTIMORE – For the first time since the state’s live racing was paused in mid-March, the Maryland Jockey Club will begin offering Latin America Racing Channel simulcasting beginning Sunday, May 3.
 
Full card LARC simulcasts from Hipodromo da Gavea in Brazil are scheduled from 12:30 to 8 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays in May, starting May 3 and 4 and continuing May 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31.
