BALTIMORE, MD –  Runnymede Racing’s Alwaysmining got his first look at Pimlico Race Course with a jog around main track at 7 a.m. Friday, the morning after arriving from his home at Fair Hill Training Center in Elkton, Md.

Baffert Arrives Seeking Eighth Preakness Victory - VIDEO

BALTIMORE – Trainer Bob Baffert, looking to win his record eighth Preakness Stakes (G1) Saturday with 5-2 morning-line favorite Improbable, arrived at Pimlico Race Course late Thursday afternoon.

Baffert is currently tied with Robert Wyndham Walden with seven victories in the Middle Jewel of the Triple Crown. Baffert’s other victories came with Justify (2017), American Pharoah (2015), Lookin At Lucky (2010), War Emblem (2002), Point Given (2001), Real Quiet (1998) and Silver Charm (1997).

The chestnut colt trained by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert had shipped to Baltimore from Louisville, Ky. Wednesday.
