BALTIMORE – Chris Dachille, executive sports producer at WBAL-TV, will be presented with the Old Hilltop Award Thursday, May 17 at the Alibi Breakfast at Pimlico Race Course.
            
The Old Hilltop Award is given annually to an individual who covers Thoroughbred racing with excellence and distinction.

Buckley Wins Frutkoff Preakness Award Sponsored by Niko

BALTIMORE – Rick Buckley, a freelance photographer and native of Baltimore, will be awarded the Jerry Frutkoff Preakness Photography Award, sponsored by Nikon, Thursday, May 17 at the Alibi Breakfast at Pimlico Race Course.
 
The award is given annually to the best Preakness picture from the previous year.

Totally Thoroughbred Horse Show Returns to Pimlico Sunday, October 7

7th Annual Event Offers More Than $18,000 in Prize Money 
 
BALTIMORE – The seventh annual Totally Thoroughbred Horse Show presented by Beyond the Wire will take place Sunday, October 7 beginning at 8 a.m. in the infield at historic Pimlico Race Course.
 
All proceeds from ticket sales and entry fees will benefit Beyond the Wire, Thoroughbred aftercare program launched in 2016 by the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association.

BALTIMORE – Highlighted by the 143rd running of the Preakness Stakes (G1), the Middle Jewel of the Triple Crown, legendary Pimlico Race Course will offer 15 stakes worth $3.7 million in purses during its spring meet which opens Thursday, May 10.
