51,573 Attend 95th Black-Eyed Susan Day
BALTIMORE – The Maryland Jockey Club reported record attendance and handle on Friday’s 95th Black-Eyed Susan Day, highlighted by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Stetson Racing, LLC’s Point of Honor winning the $250,000 Black-Eyed Susan (G2) and Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC’s Tenfold winning the $300,000 Pimlico Special (G3) at Pimlico Race Course.
Total handle on Friday’s 14-race Black-Eyed Susan program was $22.281.300 million, surpassing the previous record of $19.895 million set in 2017 by nearly 20 percent.
Attendance was 51,573, surpassing the record of 2017 of 50,339.
