BALTIMORE - The Maryland Jockey Club announced today it will offer a $3.7 million stakes schedule this spring at Pimlico Race Course, highlighted the $1.5 million Preakness (G1), $250,000 Black-Eyed Susan (G2), and $300,000 Pimlico Special (G3).

BALTIMORE - The Maryland Jockey Club is now accepting media credential applications for the 141st running of the Preakness Stakes, to be run Saturday, May 21 at historic Pimlico Race Course.

Laurel, Pimlico Open for Simulcasting Monday, Live Racing Cancelled

Entries Taken Monday for Friday and Saturday
 
LAUREL, MD - The Maryland Jockey Club announced today that live racing has been cancelled Monday, but that both Laurel and Pimlico will be open for simulcast wagering.
 
Management has also informed horsemen that Laurel will be open for training Monday morning.
 

Entries Welcome for David Woods & Jerry Frutkoff Preakness Awards

BALTIMORE - The Maryland Jockey Club announced today it is accepting entries for the David F. Woods Memorial Award, presented annually to the writer of the best Preakness story from the previous year, and the Jerry Frutkoff Photography Award, presented to the photographer of the best Preakness picture from the previous year.
