Maryland Jockey Club Announces New Partnerships For 139th Preakness Stakes
Uber, KIND Healthy Snacks and the Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company to Provide Transportation, Food and Drinks
BALTIMORE, 05-08-14---Pimlico Race Course is excited to announce its partnership with three visionary fast-growing companies in an effort to celebrate young entrepreneurs and highlight organizations that excel in promoting social wellness.
The three partners include Uber, KIND Healthy Snacks and the Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company. More details on each partner, as well as their contributions to this year’s $1.5 million Preakness Stakes (G1) are provided below.
In line with many of Maryland Jockey Club’s forward thinking initiatives, these affiliations will provide the opportunity to market the Preakness, the largest sporting and social event in the Mid-Atlantic, to a new generation of social and professional individuals.

UBER will be offering all new users free rides up to $25 with the promo code "Preakness25".
KIND is the exclusive healthy snack of the Preakness and will offer 100,000 varieties of its nutritionally-rich snack bars throughout Preakness week and it will also continue its mission to celebrate and inspire kindness through various on-site activities.
CHESAPEAKE BAY ROASTING COMPANY is the official coffee provider for the Preakness, and will be offering locally roasted USDA organic coffee throughout multiple Preakness events.
