LAUREL, MD – There were 160 tickets in Friday’s Stronach 5, each returning $1,187.20.

Friday’s sequence kicked off in the eighth-race finale at Laurel Park, won by Shaks Hidden Gem ($7.20). After Payntdemluesaway ($16) sprung a mild upset in Gulfstream Park’s ninth race, favored Morning Cynn ($4.60) came home a winner in the third leg, Race 3 at Golden Gate Fields. Gaby’s Dream ($5.40) took the 10th race at Gulfstream before Point Hope ($6.80) wrapped up the sequence with a victory in Santa Anita’s fifth race.

Total pool for the Stronach 5 was $214,528.

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

If a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
