LAUREL, MD - There were 36 winning tickets in Friday’s Stronach 5, each returning $5,404.70.

Friday’s sequence kicked off with Laurel’s eighth race and Musical America ($10.40) coming home victorious. After 1-2 favorite Pocket Change ($3) won Gulfstream’s eighth race, the longshot Cool Arrow ($21.40) took Gulfstream’s ninth race and the third leg of the Stronach 5 sequence. Favored Ladies Luv Munny ($5.40) took the third race at Golden Gate Fields before the sequence wrapped up with Preacher Marsee winning the 10th race at Gulfstream.

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

If a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
