LAUREL, MD – The Stronach 5, featuring five competitive races from four different tracks and an industry-low 12-percent takeout, returned $3,382.20 Friday afternoon. There were 29 tickets with all five winners.

The sequence kicked off with Laurel Park’s seventh race and the 7-1 shot Rohrbacher returning $16.40. The even-money favorite in Santa Anita’s second race Gorky Park ($4) won the second leg. After maiden winners at Gulfstream (Tizzire) and Golden Gate Fields (Cajun Bettor), the Stronach 5 returned to Laurel where Our Little Jewel ($9) won the final leg.

• Leg One: Laurel Park 7th Race: Rohrbacher $16.40
• Leg Two: Santa Anita Park 2nd Race 7: Gorky Park $4
• Leg Three: Gulfstream Park 8th Race: Tizzire $7.20
• Leg Four:  Golden Gate Fields 3rd Race: Cajun Bettor $12.20
• Leg Five: Laurel Park 9th Race: Our Little Jewel $9

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
