Free Past Performances, $100,000 Guaranteed Pool

LAUREL, MD – Friday’s Stronach 5, featuring an industry-low 12-percent takeout and $100,000 guaranteed pool, will be highlighted by turf races from Gulfstream Park, Pimlico Race Course and Santa Anita Park.

Post time for the national pick 5 will be 5 p.m.  The Stronach 5 will also feature six furlong events on the main track from Golden Gate Fields and Gulfstream.

Friday’s sequence kicks off with a six furlong claiming race from Gulfstream. The Stronach 5 then takes to the turf with a five furlong event at Pimlico and a 7 ½ furlong event for maiden claimers at Gulfstream. After a six furlong event from Golden Gate Fields, Friday’s national wager concludes with a field of eight allowance optional claimers going 1 1/8th mile on the turf at Santa Anita.

Friday’s Stronach 5 sequence

●    Leg One – Gulfstream’s 8th Race – (8 entries, six furlongs) 5 ET, 2 PT
●    Leg Two – Pimlico’s 9th Race – (12 entries, five furlongs turf) 5:25 ET, 2:25 PT
●    Leg Three – Gulfstream’s 9th Race – (12 entries, 7 ½ furlongs turf) 5:30 ET, 2:30 PT
●    Leg Four – Golden Gate’s 5th Race – (8 entries, 6 furlongs) 5:55 ET, 2:55 PT
●    Leg Five – Santa Anita’s 6th Race – (8 entries, 1 1/8th miles turf) 6:41 ET, 3:41 PT

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
