Bet The Derby & Oaks At Pimlico, Laurel & OTB At The Horseshoe

BALTIMORE, MD., 04/30/15 – The Maryland Jockey Club announced today fans can bet Saturday’s 141^st Kentucky Derby and Friday’s Kentucky Oaks – as well as races from around the country – at Pimlico, Laurel, and the new OTB at the Horseshoe Casino in downtown Baltimore.

Pimlico, Laurel and the OTB at the Horseshoe will open at 10 a.m. to take bets on the Oaks and Derby programs. Live racing at Pimlico will begin at 1:10 p.m. Friday and 12:45 Saturday. Live racing at Churchill Downs Friday and Saturday begins at 10:30 a.m.

The new OTB at the Horseshoe has a full bar, 33 comfortable carrel seats, and high definition televisions featuring racing from North America.

Twenty horses will go to post in Saturday’s Kentucky Derby led by 5-2 favorite American Pharoah. Pimlico will play host to the 140^th Preakness Stakes Saturday, May 16.
