LAUREL, MD – There will be a $107,353.23 carryover in the Friday, Sept. 27 Stronach 5 after there were no winning tickets in Friday’s Stronach 5.

There were plenty of longshots in Friday’s Stronach 5. The sequence kicked off with a $27.40 winner in Laurel Park’s eighth race with Laddie Liam. It concluded with the 30-1 longshot Seeking The Truth winning Gulfstream’s ninth race and returning $67.40.

The Stronach 5 has an industry-low 12-percent takeout.

Friday’s Stronach 5 Sequence

• Leg One: Laurel Park 8th Race – Laddie Liam $27.40
• Leg Two: Gulfstream Park 7th Race 7 – Gnarly $11
• Leg Three: Golden Gate Fields 4th Race – Passionate Reward $5.40
• Leg Four:  Laurel Park Race 9th Race – Letmeslidebyyou $19.60
• Leg Five: Gulfstream Park Race 9th Race – Seeking the Truth $67.40

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
